RZR-Mikro

RZR®-Mikro automation is a microprocessor device for automatic switching on of the reserve voltage (SZR) and automatic return to basic supply (APZ) of a 0.4 kV switchboard.

Application

RZR®-Mikro device ensures continuity of power supply in networks for the buildings of public usage, apartment houses and industry premises. The device is manufactured in versions for controlling two, three, four or five switches and works in the following arrangements:

  • two sources of power supply
  • three sources of power supply
  • one source of power supply and a generator
  • two sources of power supply and a generator
  • one section of a switchboard
  • two sections of a switchboard
  • three sections of a switchboard
  • four sections of power supply
  • combinations of the above elements

 

Symbols of the device models, selection of arrangements and algorithms of switches are presented in configuration table.

The device realises the following connections:

  •  SZR – automatic connection after the loss of voltage,               
  •  APZ – automatic switch of power after return of voltage,                
  •  AZZ – automatic turning on of power supply after turning the device on.

Operation

RZR®-Mikro device controls the presence of all input voltages and the position of the controlled switches. Depending on the position of switches and the presence of voltage, the device controls the coils of the switches in order to arrive at the condition presented in the table of switches.  In case of power supply from a UPS, after the loss of voltage, the device switches off all switches (cycle with the possibility of locking). In the cycle of automatic return to the basic power supply APZ (return cycle), the device works after the occurrence of voltage.

Construction

The device is placed in a metal housing suitable for DIN rail assembly.

On the front plate of the device there are: 

  • LCD display,                                                                
  • signalling the presence of voltage powering the device,                        
  • signalling of an external lock,                                      
  • four momentary switches for changing the display on LCD panel, changing the parameters and settings of the device.

In the upper and lower parts of the housing there are connectors for coupling the device with the controlled system. The following main elements of the device are located inside the housing:

  • power supply,
  • output relay,
  • separator circuits,
  • LCD panel,
  • front plate block(keyboard and light signals)
  • microprocessor steering and measurement circuit.
